Is this community dead for good?

Are there others -- besides me -- who still use Paint Shop Pro 9 regularly? I do almost every day!

I know quite a few nice 'tricks' for this software, so...

I still use Paintshop pro 9, and other versions. Am always eager to learn more about it.

This is my busy time of year work-wise. But in around a month and a half I should have some time to devote to the community.

It sounds like it's time for some new tutorials! (smile)

That'd be great! I look forward to it...

I hope you'll post some animation tutorials too.

Oh, really??? COOOOOOOL! I really, really need help working with importing gradients/patterns/textures. I got these lovely "textures" that are actually more like gradients; but they don't seem to be the kind of file the gradient folder has in it, and when I put it in the textures folder (the only folder that had any files like them), they didn't show up as colors when I used them. :(

(They're for making icons.)

I still do; it's the only one I understand, other than PSP7, which stopped working on my XP SP3 computer. Plus, there's no way I can afford a new version. I'm on SSI/Medicare/Medicaid. Graphics are the only thing that make me joy. Everyone tells me to get Photoshop CS3 (free version), but neither of my computers is even close to the system requirements.

I searched LJ for PSP communities, and this was the only one that's had entries since 2010...but apparently it's still no good? Everyone in the texture community uses Photoshop and tells me to find a PSP community to get help because they have no idea how to help me.

I'm wondering the same. Debating on joining.
